Factor 55 is excited to introduce the new line of Industrial Extreme Duty Soft Shackles that provide larger diameters that can support higher loads. Constructed of high strength HMPE Plasma rope, each Extreme Duty Soft Shackle is then layered with a woven polyester jacket that is carefully whipped and coated with a weather-resistant polymer designed to protect against elements, enhance abrasion and UV protection, and elongate rope life. The protective jacket is sewn closer to the knot to provide as much abrasion protection as possible. Extreme Duty Soft Shackles are a great lightweight alternative for common steel screw pin shackles. For their size and weight, Extreme Duty Soft Shackles provide a 25-30% increase in verified breaking strengths when compared their common standard soft shackle counterparts. These new Industrial Extreme Duty Soft Shackles are available in the following sizes;
5/8" x 18" - Minimum Breaking Strength: 102, 500 lbs, Working Load Limit: 20, 500 lbs
7/8" x 24" - Minimum Breaking Strength: 185, 000 lbs, Working Load Limit: 37, 000 lbs
